Transfer Policy

Students wishing to transfer to Westphalia ISD must be approved by the Superintendent. There is no fee to transfer. Students who apply must meet the requirements of a transfer student and are limited based on class size limits set forth in WISD policy. Applicable local policies are listed below:

When May I Transfer My Student?

Parents wishing to enroll new Kindergarten students may turn in a transfer application need to attend the annual Kindergarten Round-Up in early Spring each year. Applications for new KG students will not be accepted before then. Applications are taken on a first come, first serve basis after the round-up.

Parents with students in grades 1-8 may turn in a transfer application at any time. Applications are dated and will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. Approval of transfer application is based on WISD policy.
